We're very grateful to Wiltshire Council's Malmesbury Area Board for giving us some funding to run PHEW! for a second year. We need to discuss some of the details with them about exactly what we'll be spending the money on but we should be going out to talk to clubs in early May.
We're talking with Wiltshire Council about running PHEW again. It all looks very positive. Watch this space...
We're talking to Wiltshire Council about funding for next year. We're hopeful the Area Board will be able to help us.
Thanks to all the clubs that joined in and everybody that came to PHEW! events across the summer. It's been a great success and we hope to see you all again next year.
Well we're into the last few days of this year's programme. The final open session is being run by the ladies of Malmesbury Morris. If you've been to one of their previous taster sessions you'll know that they're a lot of fun.
Free instruction, live music, and free refreshments - a great free evening out. The PHEW! Longbow Archery taster on Sunday went very well - so well in fact that everybody attending signed up to join the club!
A huge vote of thanks goes to Hector Cole of the Braydon Forest Archers for a great day. Lots of thanks to Head 4 Heights for their brilliant taster day. Everybody had a great time and the H4H staff were excellent.
Well done to Malmesbury Bowls & Social Club. It sounds like they had a great weekend with lots of people turning up for their open day and several possible new members.
Thanks everybody for turning out for the football festival at the Malmesbury Vics football ground. They had more than 80 people along to watch the games. Hope that they raised lots of money for the Vics and
Just a quick thankyou to the Wiltshire & Gloucestershire Standard and the Wiltshire Gazette & Herald for their coverage of our Super Saturday events as well as some others around the weekend. They really help us to get the word out. Always an excellent read, even if they haven't got a PHEW! feature that week!
